Dancing Angels
The little girl asked her dad, to dance with her outside.
Family and friends were all watching, with staring eyes.
He quickly told her no, maybe next time.
His daughter disappointed, danced alone wondering why?
She gracefully twirled, and with the biggest smile.
Said it's like angels, were flying with her up high.
The next morning came. The Rain was pouring down.
Mama couldn't see. She wrecked. They both drowned.
The dad rushed to a hospital, where he sadly found.
His favorite two girls, were gone forever now.
He dropped to his knees, asking why? God please!
When he heard a familiar song playing on a t.v..
He closed his eyes, and placed his arms.
Pretend dancing with his precious little girl.
He twirled around, and with the biggest smile.
I'm dancing with my angel.
who's flying with her mother, up high.
