Dances With Clouds

water glides lazily down the lake
babbling like a child playing in the sun
the air turns cold and water shivers with the chill
it can stand the cold no longer, it rises and
lands itself in a vapor heaven.

water spirit finds shelter in the vapor,
now she's a nymph in search of fun
joins with the dust and debris from the earth
flying in aimless abandon
up in the sky where the air is frigid

vapor nymph meets other nymphs
they dance free-floating in space
soar like an angel's song beyond the atmosphere
their flight suspended above the planets
to form into thin layers of clouds.

clouds thicken into masses of tower clouds
break up in spraying falls spawned by rain.
water spirit goes back home to the lake.

The third stanza is *especially* good for imagery. Best regards, Julia
