Dance On The Moon
I want to dance on the moon
To forget the gravity of my life
To feel weightless
When everything brings me down
To visualize the void
Unfolded for my eyes only
I wonder what it would be like
To sail a sea of stars
To escape the shackles of alleged freedom
And to truly be free
These things are only imagined
But I can feel reality
It's dragging me back down
To a place where everything is mundane
And freedom is simply a ruse
When humanity is replaced with inhumanity
Is is so truly strange
That I want to escape it all
In the ethereal tendrils of space
Where the song is truly out of tune
But so many are dancing
And I can't even find my footing
I just want to dance on the moon
To escape the gravity of my own reality
