Dance of My Past
I dance to the music, but not that great.
I use to be told I was so very good as well.
At least I stayed on my feet and never fell.
Though I feel, I must not make it my fate.
When I danced, my mind was slightly hazed.
Jack Daniels was my partner if no other.
We bonded together, better than any brother.
You see I was having fun, while acting crazed.
This was in my younger days, times past.
Though I still remember, all my moves today,
I know in my heart, I could never make it pay.
So I chose a different career, so very fast.
