Dancing delightfully where blooms blush Lithe lilacs undulate in the spring sunshine Blue butterflies flutter freely Birds bring forth melodies amid tall trees Cotton clouds sail serenely Shifting shapes across the big blue sky Many creatures chime in with Spring's song 10-29-2021 Example For Contest Bolding is NOT required

Lilacs are beautiful flowers, I love much. A lovely poem on the lilacs that dance in breeze and the butterfles that flit around them !

This is lovely, Joseph, some great imagery with awesome alliteration:) as Victor says, the syllable count could be tricky, but I will rack my mind:)

Thanks Jo, the syllable counts are easy compared to making the poem flow using the alliterations.

Thanks Victor, the alliterations are not that easy, but once you get your first line, then your poem should flow from there
