Damnation

I feel the tears on my cheeks
My legs tremble and I feel weak
After long arduous weeks
I just wonder what it is I seek

There's blood on the walls
As tears of blood fall
Demons scratch and I hear their calls
All around they begin to crawl

Everything closes in around me
But what I really feel is the freeze
I'm crying I just want to be free
But this bitter chill has me on my knees

I'm afraid I'm drowning in my own tears
When into blackness I peer
Lined up are all of my deepest fears
I'm terrified damnation looms near
