Damnation

Do not look me in the eyes
and say goodbye.
i am not strong.
i have no hold over myself.

You are the lullaby i hear
in the distant shores.
You are the tale that`s etched on my palm.
You are the pine in my eyes,
the lamp that`s lit for me.

Thus do not look me in the eyes
and say goodbye.
i am not strong.
I have no hold over myself.
I can not live without you!

Oh the damnation we feel when love decides to take a vacation. Sincerely, Moses

Ahhh my dear you are driving me coocoo. 4 lines/4lines/4lines/2 lines sonnet form without even keeping to the normal meter. LOVELY, lovely verse as always why not just say free verse? Light & Love

Gently you reflect your sadness. This poem is like "the lullaby I hear" when someone I love leaves my life. Always we think we cannot live without them, but somehow we manage to survive to write away our pain in beautiful verse like this. Very nice, k k! Love, Carolyn
