Dairy Cows Delight Our Walk
Dairy cows took the lead today; and I do not have to ask why
Stood in a clear pool of pond water under the bluest sky
Letting their hooves feel the coolness of the water
I watched from afar with my young excited daughter
We seldom get to see such a gorgeous endearing sight
I took a photo, because it felt totally right.
I will walk here more often now, to delight my daughter
Who insisted on wading in the other side of the water.
