Dainty Angelic Butterfly

Dainty angelic butterfly Were you seen by that passerby? The strings of beauty you untie…. Making the garden weep and cry. Formed by heavenly host on high, You flit and glide as you pass by. Although you be petite, small fry, You make my heartstrings simply sigh. As you float in the sheer blue sky, Appreciation is not dry. For our attention you do not vie, I pause, and think and wonder why. Your sassy attitude says “hi”. Though you appear extremely shy. You captivate us, and do not try Please don’t go. I cannot say good-bye.

I love this charming, endearing write dear Caren. To watch a butterfly gives me such joy as they flit and float with their delicate gossamer wings so fragile and yet so spiritual as if they are on a different plane... Thank you for sharing your thoughts with this delightful poem Caren. With kindest thoughts Ann xx

thank you Ann. I do adore a butterfly. About a third of my poems probably have butterflies in them
