DAILY LIFE

Each moment of this daily life
Is filled with anguish, trembling
While all around walking talking creatures
Seem untroubled and indifferent.

Am I riding on a raging river current
Oblivious to the pull of life into hell
I try to grasp the grieving branches of weeping trees
On the shore of the vulnerable and blessed

Each moment is strife in daily life
How can we survive
When even the stars seem to be falling
Into a whirlpool of wretchedness
