Daddy's Little Girl

The father-in-law with his threats. "Take care of my girl or your dead." A dance with dad, as he whispers to his little girl; "I love you. I will always be here for you." Dad hid sad tears behind a smile as she took another man's name, Daddy's little girl was grown-up. 11/9/2021

It is so difficult to allow your daughter to become a grown woman. My husband has had a really difficult time letting them go and we have three of them.

It is so hard for fathers to let go of their little girls, and for little girls to abandon their original heroes, but it is all part of life Eve, nicely penned and very heart felt. Much love :)
