Daddy's Little Frankenstein
A children's rhyme called Little Ponzi
all our emotions are a two edged sword
they can soar or mess things to high treason
apparently playing evil A against evil B
has paid off at the ghetto bookie parlor
taking us all on the zigzag route to tomorrow
because because fields of potential interact
join the Navy see the world the poster goes
my young ass was signed up and inducted for me
by the Iceberg Clan whose head reindeer
guided Santa's sleigh through the mine fields
a shivver me timbers kind of iconoclast
outlived a thousand slave rebellions at once
inching his way to the black widow at web central
thrumming upon the cables just enough
to carry the code to the top of the heap
the violins of August wound my heart
with monotonous languor went the airwaves
sails luffing in a headwind onto the beach
powered by the ever present unrevealed
like trying to shake a pit bull off your leg
inviolate if and only if under the rubric
of when your heroes come alive
leaving but a single conclusion
your messianic eyes are the gates of Hell
look into them and wish it were otherwise
they can no longer hire the best brains
thresholds of knowing reached with alarm
detonations in the basement
breached by the Great Comet
grip the railings damas y caballeros
now the slow devastation of regret
