Daddy's Angel

Dustin Ray Oldham is my daddy's name,
His hair is curly and mine is the same.
I love my daddy as high as the sky,
And as far as the ocean is deep and wide.

My daddy means everything to me,
We are as close as close can be.
I am the apple of my daddy's eye,
So much that my pout will make him cry.

I hope to be his pride and joy
In everything I do forevermore.
I have my daddy's ornery and rotten grin
And getting into trouble is our biggest sin.

To my daddy, and my friend,
Life will cause us many twists and bends.
As I get older and much more defiant,
My love for you will always triumph.

Daddy, you are the man in my life,
At least until I become someone's wife.
Do not worry though, and stay strong,
For nothing can break our awesome bond!
