Daddy Fixes Everything
I thought it was cool always breaking the rules
but my teacher didn’t see it that way.
She took me down the hall to the principal
who said “I’m kicking you out today”.
Now I had to make a call…to the man that knows it all.
I cried on his shoulder 'bout what went wrong,
he said “I'm ooon my way “.
Daddy fixes everything…daddy fixes everything.
My brother Brad tried to fight ol’ dad
then he tried to run away.
But his car broke down on the edge of town;
it wasn’t my brother’s day.
Now he had to make a call…to the man that knows it all
He cried on his shoulder 'bout what went wrong,
he said, “I'm ooon my way“.
Daddy fixes everything…daddy fixes everything.

My sister Ann thought she’d found her a man
but it didn’t all go so well.
The guy she found took his hand to her…
made her life a living hell.
Now she had to make a call…to the man that knows it all.
She cried on his shoulder 'bout what went wrong,
he said, “I'm ooon my way”.
Daddy fixes everything…daddy fixes everything.
Now her boyfriend’s gone for good,
where he went we’ll never say.
Call up daddy anytime,
when there’s hell to pay.
Daddy fixes everything…my daddy fixes everything.
