Thank you, Indiana. I am thrilled that you like my family poems. My dad's name was Marzell William Regulus, and he was buried with full military honors. :)

My own father went ahead of all of us to heaven on this date seven years ago, so I am delighted to read this poem today.

Thank you, Caren. I'm glad you liked my poem. My father passed on in 1991, and he was very much like the poem describes. I hope that when people read this poem, they'll take a moment to think of Dad, whether he is still living, or is among God's angels, as ours are!
