Daddy

Father, although you are not here
I still shed many tears
Wishing you were here
To hold me tight when I am in fear
To hold my hand when I walk down the aisle
To be there to hold my first born child
On this Fathers Day I can't seem to smile
I'm missing you all the while
I know it won't be long until we meet again
Isn't that Gods plan to hold your hand again
As time goes by I wonder what went wrong
Why did God take my daddy and my best friend
He must have needed you more
He must have had a plan
I will see you again because it's never the end
