The eyes I've seen
My entire life
Are smiling back at me
The laugh I've dreamt
Is contagious
As I knew it would be
The words of wisdom
My ears have needed
I'm tireless just listening
And the love that's there
In that heart of his
Was mine all along
The kiss at night
Upon my cheek
Is forever emblazoned there
And the blood in his veins
Same as mine
Gives a history of me
