Dad
a dad is always there
for when you are good
and even when you are bad
when you are little he is your hero
no one better to pick you up
when you have fallen down
a dad is always there
to give advice when you need
and a helping hand
in many ways when older
and not so wise as he
and when you need will pick you up
A dad is always there
and if you are a girl
and you are lucky there will be
another dad in your life
to reign alongside your own
ever helping and caring
the same way as your own
a dad is always there
whether you have one or two
they never let you down
forever there with a helping hand
with good advice that you can stand
on you own two feet for ever more
a dad is always there
never will he leave you, never will he go
a dad, is dad, is a dad,
always there in your heart
never going anywhere and always there for you
