Dad

Dad Only do I have fond memories that often leave me teary eyed; I wish clock could stop once, to relive those moments, prized; You were perhaps in a hurry not to say us any goodbyes; What more precious than kids you must have anticipated dad; No last words, no songs, we could neither recall any wrongs; Just an unsung desire haunts when our very own taunt; Many big and small laughs soft heart and tender smiles; A loving father’s magic wand sends blessings through miles; Whatever we dreamt of you ensured that turned true; Many problems unsaid often ended into faded hues; Though your intense teachings beacon our soul every bit; Forever .. be our trailblaze and keep our paths well lit. Your father sounds like a trail-blazing, encourager. You were lucky to have him, and I imagine he was lucky to have you.
