Dad

When I was born no sound
Just nothing it was just quiet
The doctor just stood there
Blank faced, Worried

Then finally a cry
No food or water
For months
They took me away

Before my mom could see me
My “dad” was sitting there playing
On his phone
Why?

Few months later
Bad things started to happen
You left
Then 3 months later you came back.

Just cause you had to leave
Doesn’t mean you have to be this way
You didn’t have to leave
But you did anyway

I needed you anyway
But I guess you didn’t need me
You never acted right
But that didn’t matter

But sometimes it did affect us
You didn’t have to leave
Just cause of an incident
That you took another way
I was only dinner with a friend with my mom.
Nothing happened
Just dinner

We didn’t get to say good-bye
We just left
No reason that I knew
Till’ the other day.
You didn't have to hurt her.
Not her.
Not me.
Nobody.
