Delightful
Daffodils bloom
Dogwood trees too
Declaring - Spring has arrived
Distressful, dandelions choke my lawn

New form called, alphopp,  no rhyme needed, 
Alliteration: start each line with a word beginning with the chosen letter. 
Line order: 
1.-chosen letter  2.-1 word, 3.-2 words, 4.-3 words, 5.-4 words, 6.-5 words
Line 6 contrasts the other four - presenting a counter thought.
