Cynosure
Cynosure
Not so sure cynosure
surrounded by an
entourage of well paid
admirers.
Circus whore
performing tricks
for those who
worship costumed
beauty.
Underscored cynosure
frail ego’s faults
magnified
on stadium screens,
lip syncing a
voiceless lie.
Dinosaur cynosure
too soon afraid
of ageing
too late to savor
youth.
