Cycles and Phases

Life hits hard, and sometimes you just have to strike back harder
Good things come and go, bad things sting and leave scars
Periods of blessings, followed by phases of curses
And the cycle repeats all over again once more

With the wisdom of the moon, I see that all things in life are phases
The dusk comes, followed by the pending dawn
Forever this cycle repeats, just as the moon never stays full forever
And so is the way of life, cycles and phases, blessings and curses

Until one day when it stops
