Cycle

Sun chases moon chases sun,
night into day eternally run,
flood then drought, cold and heat,
clean the morsels from the plate,
time to eat time to eat,
sun follows rain follows sun,
the rivers swell and subside,
the rivers run, the rivers run
air fills the lungs, in then out
life is lived, life is lived,
until the candle burns out.
