Cyber Space

Like an elevator
Or a crowded room
Strangers together headed toward an outer
Or Inner place
But
I can't see a single face
Of those traveling with me
The sound of the rapidly typing keys
Lost to me
All I have before me are the results
The alerts and comments and friend replies
I can hide here
Be free
In plain view
And best of all
So can you
Nervous giggles and superficial chats on the weather
Are needless masks
For real matters
I am gay
I am straight
I am loved by God
Voices raise and form communities
The human kind

This is an interesting study on our social culture today. I like the perception of this piece, Autmn. Donna G.
