The company representative contacted me, and we had a good conversation. They were embarrased. I suspect this was just one bad experience not representative of their hard working and wonderful people. I have to say, I admire how hard they work and how well they have treated me. It's really a pleasure to watch them work, even if waiting on line. Thanks to all of the managers and workers.     

The regional manager called Embarrassed and rightly appalled When we pick up drugs They won't treat us like thugs But give hugs so we don’t feel mauled

Awwn, I'm so glad to read this, it's good that you got the apology for their indifferent behaviour.. It's also very nice of you, dear Duke, to have crafted this beautiful limerick, acknowledging the hard work of the company and other workers as well.. I love this piece, full of wonderfully crafted rhymes and lines.. You're a very kind person & this reflects in your aura. Sending many best wishes your way :)

Dear Duke, this limerick made me smile but I’m equally glad that you got the apology and acknowledgment that you deserved. Good for you my friend. I’m glad you followed it up and now others may also be treated with consideration and respect even when they are busy. A good outcome. Blessings my friend :):)

Yes Christina, I am very happy they contacted me. It's very difficult being behind a retail counter. There is not room in any way for being unkind, but we also know people have a bad day or act in a misguided manner every so often. It's a huge responsibility to be serving the public.

Well, I have to give credit to them. Since I criticized a corporation for doing something I didn't like, it's only fair! I am relieved they did contact me.

Ah dear Duke, thats great news, atleast shows that the company does care about how you feel and took responsibility for incompetent or unprofessional work from some. At least for the time being, I'm trying to take anything significant that happens and write about it in this form. Inspiration is a strange duck. I never know what will strike me, which actually amuses me.

I do believe major companies take their customer service very seriously. I also understand that sometimes people let themselves get going in a bad situation. They seem to be on top of it, which is a good thing.

Yes, it was nice to hear from them indeed. I have been back twice since this happened and been treated well. With all the other visits being OK, we hope this was an anomaly. It's never good to be mean to anyone--something you stress in your work!

Hilda, I wrote to corporate, and they got back to me very quickly. They are taking care to make certain this does not happen again. It's nice to know they do take a complaint very seriously. I can take being on the receiving end of a little mistreatment, but imagine doing that to someone not stable. It could cause a really bad scene and no one would want that.
