What did I do to deserve this treatment
How did you not feel the weight of that lie
You put all your feelings ahead of my own
By playing semantics to justify
Well now you can breathe 'cause it's out of your hands
Today I will speak, and I say "goodbye"

L Milton Hankins December 6, 2021 at 1:08 PM You know, Avery, sometimes it is so hard to cut ties (and it can hurt badly), but sometimes our lives are enriched by jettisoning those who treat us with disregard, insult, or try to bully us. Cutting ties hurts worse when the offending party is not ill-intentioned. But we're all here to live our best lives :)
