cutting edge of the pencil

plans incised on plain paper
careful calligraphy of a plane
sailing high above the clouds

shrouded in anticipation
veiled in smudges and tears
slowly running out of ink 

resolute fears fuel the fire
earthquakes resurface nebulous horizons
and I have not the foggiest idea

uncertainty shapes a landscape
full of thunder and lightening
a sinkhole for rainbows

handing over completely
to what to whom to when
a seeming distraction

at the foot of the rainbow
gold mingles with cold
and heaven freezes over

Thank you for your reply and praise. I appreciate that. Yes, life can throw huge challenges and there are plans to be made and faith to be had. I am past a very challenging time in the last few years. With poetry, I can express my emotions and thoughts. Thank you again, Kai

There are only two Michael - Jehovah and Satan. Any other so-called gods automatically default to the latter

Not at all quite the opposite. I actually just had a spiritual awakening. Different God from yours I suppose, but definitely a massive one. XXX
