Curtain
*Please bear with me. I have to write to survive and process this huge, tragic loss I just experienced. The writing may not be very good either. Please understand that I can't answer comments yet or comment on poems , etc. I will as usual, when I can. Thank you all for your comments and understanding.
I pulled down the curtains
I didn't want to see anymore
I just lost my 3rd friend out of losses in life
Without being able to say goodbye
Someone I knew over 30 years, died a horrific death
Rivers of tears flow, my mind feels like it's somewhere else
Strength wanes, like the setting sun
As I falter from numb, to anger, to grief
Today turned upside down
Now., I must find my way again
