Cursed

CURSED

A Poem by Debbie_Philly

Cursed

Night pitch as the raven full moon rising as the earth
dances like nymphs delighted by the summer solstice.
Heat of the night glistening off satin skin a need to feast
blood flowing through veins like a crimson river.
Flames burn unquenchable a constant thirst frenzied
mad and untamable until he has had his banquet.
Feeding upon the souls of the damned forever searching.
Night by night with diminished vision clouding the view.
Forever searching bound by the curse living yet stagnate
for all eternity.
