Curse of Godless Demons
I wander – lost in this eternal sleep
thirsty for the cooling scent of dewdrops
cold beneath the torrid noonday sun
locked in the blackened drape of silence
torturous – these strains of melancholy
aching for the distant touch of music
mourning life’s vibratory thrum
this curse of godless demons – this eternal sleep
devoid of all things beautiful
bereft of colors conflagration
lingering - forever wanting
death’s lie– this eternal sleep
