Current Float the Love

The current is pulling me away...

Over powering forces slowly push
me away, inching away
Love fades, my heart breaks...

Riptide and breaking waves,
A thousand pounds of water
Planting my face in the sandy,
mirky water.

Lungs scream for air,
scrambling limbs, struggle to
balance my body upright.
Pressure in my body is about to explode.

Life fading, love fading
currents float the love back
into my life, release the pressure,
Give life...

If a rip tide gets your love will it survive? Well you just answered that one? Currents float the love back. Nicely done . Mom

like it! Doris!... I visited Laguna Beach one summer , no one was swimming...only suntanning...I thought this strange...in Minnesota, we swim at the beach! so I waded out (everyone was staring!) and dived in! whooooshhh!! a riptide swept me under...bounced me along the bottom for about 20' and spit me back up! I thought that was cool! did it again! then thought maybe this was dangerous!!! I came out bruised and smilin!...(they were still starin' and shakin' their heads!)....jim
