Curiosity Kills
Nelly was wildly curious
And it became injurious:
A not-warned punch and hard kick
And she doubled up “Caught !”
“You saw we were robbing him
And the scene watching face grim…”
And at her they lashed again
Like persons sure of the gain,
Nelly grabbing wounds to lick
And made to seen A White Witch;
In Nelly’s ears “You leave, now!
Or else you’ve a finished cow!”
Right then, it’s ‘A run for it!’
Breathless Nelly far from fit.
Scare crow for Mean Pests
Birds back to their nests.
