Cure
God willing, I will find my cure one day
Bright sun will touch me with gentle rays
To help me see a world, inviting and caring
That day, will there be a poem inside me?
I do not know. I can only hope for that.
God willing, I will find my cure one day
I will not be afraid of nightmares,
Sharp moments; painful, intimidating.
That day, would time afford a verse, enchanting?
I do not know. I can only hope for that.
God willing, I will find my cure one day
I will kiss my loved little ones, lovingly.
And, with all my ability and dedication
I would pray for a growing life for
Little Alan Kurdi, which ended abruptly.
Will my little pen hold that much blood?
I do not know. I can only hope for that.
On the other side of my perception,
Redemption of faith, divine eternity,
May wisdom find a reason to believe others,
In the beauty of truth and glory of understanding.
God willing, I will find my complete cure that day.
