Cupid Reverse Curse

I change my mind dear valentine
I can’t be sure that you are mine
Or that we’re pure purple passion divine
That we will last beyond thrills in time

Was a lot of fun to rehearse
Vows of love to the universe
Images of us at quaint little church
Ending all doubt quenching loves thirst

But I have notice little things
Like I support you in your dreams
While you forget don’t recall my dreams
It’s not on purpose but still it means

I am more thoughtful you are not
Could this be an important part
Of how marriages fail and derail
For one to care and mostly bear

The little things like recalling a date
Celebrating my worth on my birthday
Far apart a challenge yes makes
Sent your gift despite the holiday

I am not sure what this is to be
Weirdly you call as I am writing
We could be winning in loves lottery
If only I could trust this distance and little things
