Cupcake Mountain

Cherry topped leaves Frozen ventures into gardens When I splice that cake sipping on apple pie Stirring my drink with a straw The branches break I hear them crack the pinecones fall in the night I see the bending sound nothing hushed in a crowd Verses spoken I feel the starlight as you crawl into bed next to me on cupcake mountain.
