Cunning Visitor

Cunning visitor From behind the garden shed sly eyes observe the human condition. With tail held high he retreats, pronouncing us unworthy of further comtemplation

Yes. I saw her just last night, through the window. She said to herself..."that's enough ". Best - Ken

When I look at what man has done in the last 100 years, I wonder which of us is more intelligent, the "Cunning Visitor" or man. Have a wonderful day. Vince

Well, this seems to be turning into a guess the animal muse game LOL. I think a poem with cunning in its title, sly to describe the eyes, and about a beast that is unsure of humans so that it retreats, must be about a fox. But, whatever the subject, the poem is magnificent and delivers such a visual personality to the animal of our choice. Love, Nigel

This is so real, what goes on behind our place on a daily basis! We a multitude of squirrels, and a few jack-rabbits in the grove of trees, that treat us with the same contempt! Take a look, then stick up their little noses and go on their way! Very cute poem, Barbara! ~ Carrie
