Cuckoo-Bird

There was a cuckoo-bird lived by a lake
Thought that a great fisherman he would make
But when he set up his lines
To devour the bait he pined
He'd snarf down all the worms, for heaven's sake

I've snarfed down a few things myself And soon had to loosen my belt. After I gobbled it all I let out a caw, So I know how this cuckcoo-bird felt. Ah, Gershon, how you do inspire me!

Now, are you sure that this stuff is inspiration. Seems more like perspiration to me. Cheers, Jean! :) gw

Can't be sure of anything these days, my friend. Didn't even ask cuckoo about its gender... And maybe it was a kookaburra, for all I know! LOL. Thanks, Lindsay. :) gw
