Cuckoo Haiku

Cuckoo Haiku

Flightless, no feathers
Strange gray bird, drinks river dry
Cuckoo forgets song

Hi Andrea, Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. The only thing I know is; that is one thirsty bird....with a bad memory and a little cuckoo. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Take care. Earl

Good morning Anne Lise, Thank you so much. I wrote the haiku this morning with no idea about the contest. I found it by pure chance. I don't know if it is "creative" but it sure is crazy and that is what I was going for. The actual cuckoo is a great little bird. I'm glad you liked it. Have a pleasant day. Take care. Earl

Hi Casarah. Thanks! I just wrote to you about the contest. I hope you enter it. I love competition. I liked your haiku about the rain. (I have never owned an umbrella in my life or a tree for that matter but trees make the best umbrellas and they are free.) Have a wonderful day. Earl
