C,S

Can't Sleep.

I'm not sleepy, no not at all
in the wee small hours of the night.
I toss and turn in my cosy bed
but then give up the fight.
I might get up and read a book
and have a cup of tea.
Two sugars and a drop of milk
will help to settle me.

It's half past three, back to bed
cause now i'm feeling sleepy.
Or is just the ticking clocks
and floorboards sounding creepy.
As I lay my head upon my bed
I soon drop off without a peep.
There's not a movement in the house
as at last I fall asleep.

GOODNIGHT.
