Crystalline Teardrops

Crystalline Teardrops fall
covering my world
in winters hoarfrost.

With your frigid nature
you buried loves lament
beneath sorrowful snowflakes.

The warm embers of passion
have been extinguished
drowned in icy slush.

The memories
of your fallen snow angels
will no longer sustain me.

"in winters hoarfrost" made me smile. I know exactly what it means even though I had never before heard of it.
