Crystal Heart
Clear glass
Reminds me of
My sacred past
Harmonious tunes
Devour the silence
In the room
Tick-tock
A grandfather's clock
Strikes at twelve
Heart aches
The morbid pain
Dwells inside my soul
A little crack
On the edge of perfection
Drives me to insanity
Where all hope
Soon slowly dies
Leaving me broken
Shattered pieces
Cut into the skin
Like razor blades
A clear mind
Opens a place
Of vivid dreams
Carefully handled
No more hate
Just lasting love
Flows free
Longing emotions
Dare to be released
From the sanctuary
A precious jewel is held
That is my heart.
