Crying Soul

Many mistakes I make But act like I don’t care Now I have to take It’s my heart I tear. Many days I walk Acting fine Even laugh and talk Yet inside I burn. Ever had these dreams at night? Making you sleepless! Because everything in sight Seem pointless. My body was crushing Hopes down to ashes My spirit gnashing Tattered and left for the masses. I count one, two, three Too many to stop That’s when I dreed to be free Even if it’s by a pope! But rarely go to church Not even pray Or maybe haven’t learnt much Even for a day. My final cry Is peace with my soul And try To be like Saul.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
