Crying inside

I cry, 
cry for myself, 
cry out the pain I have. 

I cry, 
cry the feelings I have, 
in my mind
- cause I can't. 

Can't cry, 
cry loudly. 
It's scary, to show. 

To show, 
the cryings I have. 
Just crying inside, 
for the pains I have, 
I can't show.

Jeanette Swan Date: 9/18/2025 5:39:00 AM So true. I think all people have pain we don't show, or only show sometimes. But you did speak it in your poem, to name it and organise it. I like how you used the last line to start again, because that kind of repeat...repeat happens when you're hurting. Thanks for sharing your poem.
