Crying For My Generation

Crying out for my generation

Bridge
Our generation is dying
A lot of them are not surviving
They are not in control
Trying to fit in
Selling their soul
Lord please make them back whole

Verse 1
As i close my eyes
So much comes in display
So many things left to say
All we can do is just pray(pray)
Sitting here in frustration
Wondering what happen to our generation
It use to be a time
Where the future looked bright and fine
Parents are letting babies raise babies
Not stepping up this is crazy
Our youth use to want to have fun
Now the majority reach for guns

Chorus
I'm crying (crying)
For my generation
Let them live, let them climb the highest hills
We cant give up
That's not a conversation
Lord, I'm crying out for our generation

Verse 2
They took prayer
Away from school
That was our tool
To make it
Its sad when you have dreams
Somebody just takes it(takes it )
They hold the world
In the palm of their hands
Standing in the need
Of just one more chance

Chorus
I'm crying (crying)
For my generation
Let them live, let them climb the highest hills
We cant give up
That's not a conversation
Lord, I'm crying out for our generation

Hook
Lets help
Lead the way
Show the children they are the way
No matter what people say or do
Know that our future relies in you

One more time
Lets help lead the way
Show the children they are the way
No matter what people say or do
Know that our future relies in you

Chorus
I'm crying (crying)
For my generation
Let them live, let them climb the highest hills
We cant give up
That's not a conversation
Lord, I'm crying out for our generation

Repeat until chorus fades
