Crying Angels

The angels stood at attention
Waiting for the call
To free God's only begotten Son
Who would die for one and all

Imagine how they watched the Lord
Who knew them all by name
As He offered both His hands to them
Who would cause Him so much pain

All of Heaven went silent
As they nailed Him to the tree
I wonder how the angels felt
As they watched His Agony

Jesus could have called them
Ten thousand angels strong
But He knew He had to finish
What He'd waited for so long

And when He said it's finished
He gave up the Ghost and died
It must have looked like rain that day
As ten thousand angels cried

So sad and so true Larry but for freedom ... and I collect Angels so they remind me of the sacrifice every day no matter where I look so I am always feeling free in Christ... with luv from the "Sweetheart"
