Cry, then Fight On

Keep quiet, there’s no reason to cry
I wish I could be your candlelight tonight
Shelter me with no regrets, can’t deny
You are my nestled lullaby, so darn bright

Keep low, I’m trying to be good to you
I wish I can believe in myself once more
Tattered and torn to the point of turning blue
You were my lover of the past to the core

Fight on, shine on
Do what you can to survive till dawn
Shine on, shimmering sun
Do what you have to do to move on

Worry not and know, you are beloved
Cry, then fight on till dread is gone, one I adore
Worry less and show the tears you shed
Cry, then fight on till the sun shines no more
