An Englyn unodl union poem, using syllabic rhyme for the rhyme scheme: a & b, i.e. the unstressed end syllable sounds the same, ie the consonants plus the accented vowels match in sound. NB It has unmatched preceding stressed syllables.

It is uncommon for words to consist entirely of consonants; hence my choice of syllabic rhyme scheme for my poem, Crwth.

Crwth, bowed Welsh lyre played from the European Middle Ages to about 1800. It was about the size of a violin.

With arched and columned mitre, it’s ample. Some people love patter: finger plucking, then stutter— harmony to the letter.

His personal example was rhyme though (in addition to the main example of syllable rhyme)

I hope Mark gets the rhymes as the example poem on the contest page used slant rhyme and not perfect/strong rhyme. It was fun to write this.
