Crushed

Once there was a pineapple A pineapple that said A fruit is not appealing When you crush it first instead. It's not so bad to live in dirt Said the grapefruit in disgrace Nobody likes a squirt When it hits you in the face. The lemon said to both of them I hate to make you pucker But children lick me all day long And tell me I’m a sucker. The cranberry had heard enough Because the rest are sweet Nobody likes to eat dessert Without a sugar treat. But then the Daphne fruit appeared And all the rest were crushed For that which man has always feared Is something never flushed.
