Crumpled Mayhem

Crumpled mayhem By Michelle Morris 07/11/2022 Take time to heal your mind Take time to heal your soul Take time to heal your heart It takes time to heal and be whole Maybe start with a small memory Of sadness or of hurt Unfold it like a crumpled paper That is flattened and made inert Deal with the crumpled mayhem Of memories one by one Imagine burning them up Sending their ashes to the sun Let that darkness be transmuted Let your spirit feel light and free And over time you will realise That the memories are history Take time to free your mind Take time to free your soul Take time to free your heart Take time to be free and whole © Michelle Morris, 2022
